POLAROID
FINALLY!
i bought my first Polaroid todayy!!!
and guess what.
MY DAD ACTUALLY HAS ONE IN HIS HIDDEN CUPBOARD TOO!
THAT SNEAKY DAD. I HAD NO CLUE AT ALL!
AND ITS ONE THAT CLAMPS UP W/O DUST GETING IN! GRRRR.
superrrrr exxcited.. 2 polaroids to use!
heck its gonna discontinue in 2009.
im sad. but its gonna be antiques! bwahahahhaha..
hunting earnestly for Polaroid 600 films.
Mine - Impulse Autofocus

- Comes with self-timer. (very proud of it)
- Pop up flash light, can be hidden. hilarious thing is, i've to cover the flash bulb w my fingers should i dont want flash. *sniggerss*
check it out
Dad's - Sun 660 Autofocus

- Frame indicator displays the number of pictures remaining
- lens can be closed down like a box.. which is freaking cool cos you wont have scratches or dust easily on your polaroid! HMMPH
Ours are almost the same... except for the slight differences stated and his lens are bigger/clearer.. different kinda effects producted most likely.
and thought dad could give it to me.. but when i asked him why is he putting back into the cupboard.
He says:" You want, i can lend you.. but its my prized possesions leh.. *smile smileee*" -.-
right.

You do know that Polaroids have stopped producing their film cartages right... haha, you better go stock those films up babe. Or maybe you should look at some old school cameras using 120 or 35mm... Just got a Lomo Lubitel.. sweet... :)
hi hun,
yes i do know.. thats why i say, im hunting earnestly for e films :)
oh yea.. lomo / holgas are too overrated for me.
lovely stuff nevertheless!
:)
If you hunt them down, make sure you grab all you can carry. According to the law of supply and demand, them films will be worth loads and loads in a few year $$$ ... hahaha
Btw, changing films is a pain in the ass on my Lubitel,if only it allows instant gratification like the polaroid.
Rock on
sigh.. e films are priceyy..
oh wells. changing films. thats e hassale of oldie cameras.. i might get an olympus xa. see some great photos produced.. have ya tried this fun camera vivitar?
Don't bother about the Olympus thingy.. go for a DSLR :P
You know you can get one at under $800 bucks now!
Ooo... Vivitar... never tried them before thou, only know they are in the rage of the Lomos and Holgas but really unglamorous looking...like designed by dwafs or something...haha
Found a trend you might be interested in.

hey there,
thanks for e link.. :)
DSLR is the modern cam?
Digital SLR (DSLR) is often termed as 'those big big, black black cameras' or 'professional' cameras. Its major characteristics would be that it allows for TOTAL MANUAL CONTROLS on the camera hence the effects and the opportunity to learn 'Photography'. Also, the lens is interchangeable hence the possibility of specializing in a particular field like Macro flower photography (I like very much), or portrait photography or bird photography or wedding photography...etc etc....
The thing is that it is getting so cheap lately thus every other guy has it now. Its probably cheaper then some of the slim sony cameras our there... so go get one now. hahaha
Its how i really really started photography.
This ones probably under $800 bucks
